Paramount Art Center in Ashland is haunted by the ghost of “Paramount Joe,” a worker who was found hanging from the curtain rigging in the 1940s. His presence is well-known—objects disappear, unexplained noises fill the theater, and photos fall from the walls if his tribute is ever removed. Even celebrities like Billy Ray Cyrus have acknowledged his lingering spirit.
