New Hartford High School in New Hartford was built on an Indian burial ground, and strange occurrences have been reported. A former janitor encountered a locked door that mysteriously remained closed and locked, even after returning with the key. Some believe there are both a good and bad ghost haunting the school, with the bad spirit residing in the auditorium.
