The Iowa Medical and Classification Center in Oakdale, Iowa, has been the site of numerous paranormal encounters. On certain units, particularly segregation, guards and inmates alike have reported seeing the shadowy figure of a man walking along the cells—only his head and shoulders visible. Cold spots and an overwhelming sense of unease plague the night shift.
